Sandnes Conference Call for Abstracts
Deadline for Submission: Thursday 15 April 2010
The Call for Abstracts refers to papers submitted by delegates for the parallel sessions during the three days of the Business and Technical Conference in Sandnes, Norway, 17-19 June 2010.

We are inviting two types of abstracts:
1 Equity: Abstracts relating to inequalities/equity which can relate overall to policies and actions working on inequalities or linked to inequalities on specific core themes
2 Core Themes: Abstracts on outstanding work on the core themes in Phase V that have shown impact at strategic or operational level

Preference will be given to papers which illustrate one or more of the following:
• Strategic approaches
• Comprehensive and systematic approaches
• Intersectoral approaches
• Community-based initiatives
• Successful practices and innovative solutions
• Work that has been evaluated
• Lessons learnt from experience (positive and negative)
• Actions with concrete goals and outcomes

All abstracts should be submitted by Thursday 15 April 2010 to be considered for inclusion at the Sandnes Conference. Authors will be informed by the Secretariat of the decision on their abstract by Friday 7 May 2010.

It is important to note that it in order to record necessary information from the abstract form, a number of fields are mandatory. When working on the form, it is necessary to fill in all required fields on your current page before moving on or choosing the ‘finish later’ option.
